Our Vision:

Gateway Church International is called to proclaim Jesus Christ in a radical, contemporary, caring way to a cross-cultural, multi-racial audience.  We are commissioned to train and equip believers to become disciples of Jesus Christ by creating an environment where every member is a minister.

 

Our Values:

We believe in the importance of every believer developing a personal, authentic, loving relationship with God that is reflected in his daily walk with Him.

We believe our primary mission is to proclaim the simplicity of the gospel message, which is Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.  We emphasize every believer’s responsibility to be a witness in his community, workplace and to the ends of the earth, using every viable means to reach the unsaved.

We believe in the importance of every believer becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, living a whole-hearted life of devotion and service to God.  We emphasize the necessity of continual Bible teaching and training to facilitate growth and maturity.   

We believe in the importance of dependency upon the supernatural empowering of the Holy Spirit and the Living Word of God to fulfill our mission in life.  We emphasize doing the works of Jesus, proclaiming truth, healing the sick and setting the captives free.

We believe in the importance of exuberant, prophetic and passionate praise and worship that exalts the Lord Jesus Christ, creates an atmosphere for God’s presence and releases Him to speak, minister and work.   We believe in utilizing the performing arts of drama, dance and flags.

We believe in the importance of prayer and spiritual warfare for the purpose of reclaiming what the enemy has stolen and bringing increase to God’s kingdom.

We believe in the importance of helping people to identify and develop their spiritual gifts.  We believe that every member is a minister, therefore emphasize, “total congregational participation” or “every joint supplying”.

We believe in the importance of developing strong marriages and families.  We understand that the strength of the church and the community is determined by the strength of the family; therefore we esteem it as a high priority. 

We believe in the importance of building strong relationships and a sense of community within the local church through small group settings where people can be cared for through encouragement and accountability.

We believe in tithing and giving financial offerings to local and foreign missions, evangelistic outreaches and benevolence. 

We believe in the importance of being trained by and submitted to God’s government of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in the church today.

We believe in the value of planting new churches, as well as cooperating with other established churches in order to model the concept of a city/regional Church.
